Strength Club

We help athletes and high-performance humans from various sports and background use strength and conditioning to improve their performance and resilience. Running alongside our weightlifting club in Edmonton, we provide customized goal-specific programming and coaching in a group training environment.

Not an athlete? No problem, we do that too; you don't need to be an athlete in a specific sport to work with us and benefit from strength training!

Movement Assessment

In an initial 1-hour assessment, we identify movement patterns that influence your performance, pain, and risk for injury. We then monitor changes in these patterns over time through consistent technical development to track changes.

Tailored Programming

Whether through Google Sheets or our online Teambuildr app, we provide programming based on your sport-specific physical needs, point of the sport season, and injury considerations.

Coaching and Relationships

Train with our group, but complete your own individual programming. This affords relationships with like-minded individuals while still focusing on your own personal goals.

How To Get Started

1. Schedule an initial assessment with one of our certified coaches - An initial meeting for us to go over your training history, any pain or injuries you want to improve upon, and your goals. We'll also take you through a variety of movement screens to see what deficits we want to work on with our programming.

2. Review your assessment with your coach We'll take some time to explain to you why the results of your assessment matter, and what path we recommend you follow to success.

Our Strength Club coached training times for September 2024 - April 2025 are:

Monday: 4-7pm

Tuesday: 7-9am, 4-7pm

Wednesday: 4-7pm

Thursday: 7-9am, 4-7pm

Friday: 4-7pm

Saturday: 9-11am (outside of a few competition weekends, see the schedule board at the gym)

*24/7 code access can be given after evaluation period at your coach's discretion

3. Choose the best program for you! - 1on1 training for the most detailed coaching? Small group with a selection of your friends? Strength Club for flexibility, independence and social atmosphere? Let us help you decide what training will work best for you.

2x/week Strength Club

Programming: Semi-custom strength programming delivered via the TeamBuildr app re-evaluated in 4-6 week blocks based on goals and progress.

Features: 

  • Drop into any 2 sessions per week (see schedule)

  • Programming based on your sport specific needs and injury considerations

  • Complete at your own pace

  • 24/7 access to programming via TeamBuildr in case you need to work out elsewhere

3x/week Strength Club

Programming: Semi-custom strength programming delivered via the TeamBuildr app re-evaluated in 4-6 week blocks based on goals and progress.

Features: 

  • Drop into any 3 sessions per week (see schedule)

  • Programming based on your sport specific needs and injury considerations

  • Complete at your own pace

  • 24/7 access to programming via TeamBuildr in case you need to work out elsewhere

  • Perfect for the in-season athlete looking to minimize injury risk

Unlimited Strength Club

Programming: Semi-custom strength strength programming delivered via the TeamBuildr app re-evaluated on a per-need basis. Typically employing more advanced periodization structures.

Features: 

  • Unlimited sessions per week (see schedule)

  • Programming based on your sport specific needs and injury considerations

  • Complete at your own pace

  • 24/7 access to programming via TeamBuildr in case you need to work out elsewhere

  • Perfect for competitive athletes looking to maximize performance, or gym hobbyists looking for a challenge
