GG Weightlifting is the leading Olympic Weightlifting club in Edmonton for competitive and recreational weightlifters. Unlike other weightlifting clubs that operate inside chain commercial gyms, our club operates out of a private facility that is dedicated to Olympic Weightlifting, sports performance, and injury rehabilitation. This affords our club a greater team culture than can be achieved in a big-box gym. Our membership program includes individual coaching, intelligent program design and a flexible training schedule with a team training environment. This means you get individualized coaching and programming without the price tag of personal training.

GG Weightlifting was founded in 2019 by passionate coaches who have served hundreds of athletes from beginners to international medalists. As we continue to grow the sport of Weightlifting in Canada, we provide athletes with high-level coaching and allow them to enjoy the benefits of the Olympics' most powerful sport. We employ a long-term approach that develops well-rounded athletes, self-confidence, and mental strength that extends beyond the platform.

Our inclusive environment welcomes all genders, races, ethnicities, religions, disabilities, abilities, and sexual orientations. The first drop-in is always free.
