Our on-ramp program is an introductory course designed to teach beginners the fundamental techniques of the snatch, clean and jerk, and other fundamental barbell lifts commonly used in the sport of weightlifting. This process ensures a safe and effective introduction to weightlifting, including personalized instruction and guidance on proper form, terminology, and expectations from training. Structured as a series of 1-on-1 sessions, we focus on building a confident foundation before progressing to more advanced training.
How To Get Started
1. Schedule a call or come meet with us to find out more info - An introduction for you to ask any and all questions about our program, as well as our opportunity to get to know you, your goals, and your expectations.
2. Learn which stream will best suit your goals - We offer both 3-session and 5-session onboarding options.
Our 3-session option is geared towards our teen program or athletes with previous sporting experience and a minimal injury history, interested in our open weightlifting club.
Our 5-session option is geared towards our open weightlifting club, for athletes with previous sporting experience and a complex injury history, or adults with minimal experience in strength training or other sports. This can also be a good option for athletes looking to just get personal eyes on their movement without committing to joining the club.
What To Expect
No experience required - All you need for your first session is some athletic shoes, comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a willingness to learn!
